Also on this day in 2008, ‘It Might Get Loud’ premiered at the Ryerson Theatre in Toronto, while in 1968, I arrived in Denmark prior to our first show of the Scandinavian tour for Led Zeppelin.

This was Toronto’s premiere rock gig. We were to play Toronto a number of times and local DJ and journalist Ritchie York was our man in Toronto. He was one of the first people to capitalise from Led Zeppelin by writing an unauthorised book.
